How to Apply for Financial Aid
- Apply for a PIN Number at www.pin.ed.gov (only if you have never applied for FAFSA online before). Keep your PIN number in a safe place for future use. If you are required to include your parents' income, one of your parents will also need a PIN number as that number will represent their electronic signature.
- Complete the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" (FAFSA) in print or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- Identify WWTC as your school code choice on the FAFSA application.
- WWTC Federal Code is 026005
- If you have No access to a computer:
- Make an appointment with the WWTC Financial Aid Officer and she will make you an appointment to use WWTC's Career Advancement Center.
- If you would like to mail your FAFSA:
- You will need to call the U.S. Department of Education toll-free at
1-800-4FEDAID (1-800-433-3243); and - Mail to FAFSA to: Federal Student Aid Programs, P.O. Box 4691,
Mt. Vernon, IL 62864-0059.
