***WWTC has received the Gold Star Award 16 out of 18 years!***

Wes Watkins Technology Center District #25 has been recognized by the Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers (OATC)
as a Gold Star school. The Gold Star Award Program honors only those schools which meet rigid and demanding criteria, maintain quality standards and demonstrate exemplary programs designed to meet a broad spectrum of community needs.

16 Time Gold Star School Recipient - 2009

SIXTEEN YEARS of Gold Star Status…. Wes Watkins Technology Center was again honored with the prestigious Gold Star School award. This voluntary program (not to be confused with accreditation) provides recognition to districts with exemplary programs designed to meet a broad spectrum of community needs.

The award is sponsored by the Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers (OATC). It was presented during the Oklahoma Career and Technology Education (OkACTE) Awards Program during Summer Conference held August 4-6 in Oklahoma City.

The Awards Selection Committee emphasized the school's dedicated staff and board of education which serve 10 partner schools and surrounding communities. "Committed to excellence, this school has set standards for all to follow and proves to be a consistent deliverer of quality education.”

15 Time Gold Star School Recipient - 2008

Wes Watkins Technology Center received the Gold Star School Award and was recognized by the Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers (OATC) at the Oklahoma Career and Technology Education (OkACTE) Summer Conference held August 4-6, 2008, in Oklahoma City.

13 Time Gold Star School Recipient - 2006

WWTC was recognized by the Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers (OATC) as a Gold Star School at the Oklahoma Career and Technology Education Summer Conference held August 1-3, 2006, at the Tulsa Convention Center.
