Biotechnology will cultivate a deeper knowledge of core scientific concepts, implement important laboratory skills, and explore careers and opportunities in laboratory science. This program will prepare the next generation of students to explore new frontiers in biotechnical science with hands-on experiences in cutting-edge biotechnology. Students will explore techniques in DNA analysis, microbiology, biochemistry, plant tissue culture, forensics, genetic engineering, pharmaceutical production, bioremediation, and more. This college preparatory program develops competencies useful for medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, forensic, and other science-based areas of study. |
